You’re invited to join us for Christmas at Midway!
Midway UMC’s beautiful and historic chapel (the free-standing brick building under the steeple) is an ideal venue to celebrate this holy night. This charming chapel built in 1928 is known for its finely-detailed pine interior and stained-glass windows, creating an inviting worship space. Illuminated by candlelight later in the worship service, the chapel is a breathtaking reminder of the peace and simplicity of this night, as we gather together to celebrate the birth of our Savior.
We offer a full day of worship service options to fit your schedule:
- 2:30 PM (historic chapel)
- 4:30 PM (historic chapel)
- 4:30 PM (sanctuary of main building; Family Service). Enter the main building under the covered entrance.
- 6:30 PM (historic chapel)
- 8:30 PM (historic chapel)
- 10:30 PM (historic chapel)
All services will include Candlelight, and Holy Communion will be served (you need not be a member of the Methodist Church to participate in Communion; all are welcome to share in this sacrament). Services do fill so come early (at least 20 min before service time) to ensure seating is available.
The 4:30 Family Service in the sanctuary will be an interactive and engaging service, especially designed for children and their families.
Nursery care is offered for infant thru pre-K at the 2:30, 4:30, and 6:30 services.
