Pastor Jason loves Jesus, sharing the good news of the gospel, making disciples and he enjoys a great cup of coffee.
Amanda Lane
Associate Pastor
Having felt the call to ministry in middle school, Pastor Amanda credits her home church with nurturing her call, as her church family encouraged her growth in faith and gave her opportunities to grow in leadership. She attended Presbyterian College in South Carolina, where she majored in Christian Education and minored in Spanish. She attended seminary at Candler School of Theology at Emory University in Atlanta, was ordained as an elder in the United Methodist Church in 2013, and served at several churches in the North Georgia Conference before being appointed to Midway UMC in May 2021. Amanda loves to work with people of all ages, helping them to grow in their faith and finding hands-on ways to live out that faith. Her husband, Victor, is an English teacher and soccer coach. They have two young sons and as a family, the Lanes enjoy hiking and being outdoors. They are also fans of UGA and Atlanta United.
