Preschool Programs
Mother's Morning Out (MMO):
Children must be 12 months old by September 1. This is a first-group experience designed to introduce early social skills through music, artwork and play. Our babies receive lots of love and attention which leads to security in an environment other than home. Children are encouraged to explore their environment and experience growth in socialization.
This class is offered Mon/Wed or Tues/Thurs. Maximum enrollment is 10 students per class3's:
Children must be 3 years old by September 1. The 3’s class places emphasis on developing social skills with the introduction of academic skills and growth of self. The children are introduced to numbers 1-10 in concept and sight. They are introduced to the alphabet by learning to recognize their written names. Children will be given an introduction to letters and their sounds. Our primary concern is to provide the children with a positive school experience with individualized attention. They are encouraged to grow in a good self-image to improve their motor skills through art, music, play and special guests.
This class is offered on MWF or M-F. Maximum enrollment is 14 students per class.

2’s:
Children must be 2 years old by September 1.
The 2’s class is a step into the toddler age and phase. In this class, the children receive individual attention and cuddling to help gain confidence to discover their new environment and their classmates. They are encouraged to learn socialization skills, share, take turns and to verbalize their desires and needs. They will be introduced to learning through “hands on” discovery of art, music, and play, with special guests.
This class is offered on T/Th or MWF. Maximum enrollment is 12 students per class.

Young 5's:
Children must be 5 years old by September 1. This class is designed for children who are eligible for kindergarten and would benefit from an additional year with us. Focus is given to kindergarten readiness skills with special attention given to pre-reading and pre-math. This class follows the same basic curriculum as our Pre-K classes with more emphasis placed upon structure, decision making and personal responsibility. During this year, the children experience tremendous growth in maturity and confidence.

Pre-K:
Children must be 4 years old by September 1.
Pre-kindergarten is offered either 3 days (MWF) or 5 days (M-F) per week. These classes will receive special guidance to aid children entering a formal kindergarten or students who return to us the following year. The class curriculum is focused to give children the self confidence necessary to make the transition to kindergarten a wonderful experience. Children will be introduced to the upper- and lower-case letters of the alphabet and their sounds.

They will work on pre-reading skills such as phonics, rhyming, left-to-right progression and opposites. The use of language through stories, word games and conversation will enhance their abilities in speech. The number concepts are introduced by working with sets and the recognition of numbers in concept and in sight. These children will have “hands on” experiences through art and music, with occasional special guests. Maximum enrollment is 16 students per class.
